There are numerous methods of carpet cleaning, depending on the kind of carpet, frequency of use, and the state of the carpet we may recommend one of the methods below.
Bonneting
Bonnet Carpet cleaning is also known as carbonated cleaning or “dry cleaning”. It is the most preferred carpet cleaning method for clients especially for those who are looking for a fast dry time. The way bonnet cleaning works is by spraying a detergent on top of the carpet surface. Then the rotating machine with an absorbent pad attached to it spins at high speed to agitate the carpet. By doing so, the dirt and spots are transferred to the bonnet pad. During the cleaning process, depleted absorbent pads are replaced. The carpet condition determines the number of pads that are going to be replaced.
Extraction
Carpet Extraction also referred to as Hot water extraction is a carpet cleaning method used to clean carpets in water with temperatures of up to100 degrees Celsius. Some carpet cleaners refer to this method as ”steam cleaning”. The equipment used range from portable machines that heat and pump water using electricity, large truck mounted machines, to vacuum motors. The truck-mounted machines are usually PTO powered machines that power the portable machines and the vacuum motors. This method offers high treatment of bacteria, fungi, and germs that could be harmful to people
Encapsulation
Encapsulation cleaning is an interim carpet maintenance method. In this process, the encapsulating chemical is sprayed onto and then brushed into the carpet using a cylindrical or rotary brush machine or bonnet. The encapsulation chemistry surrounds each soil particle and crystallizes it so it can’t attract other soils. The encapsulated soil particles release from the carpet fiber and are removed by normal vacuuming, which will generally be done by the janitorial staff at regularly scheduled times. Since this is a low moisture system, carpets can be put back into use promptly.
